Dyer’s Docking now offers Custom Trailer Manufacturing. We can build you a custom trailer out of aluminum, with any axle combination, single or dual, triple, electric brakes or surge brakes.

Or instead of buying an expensive new trailer, we can modify your existing trailer to meet your growing needs.

Here are some things to consider when purchasing a new trailer:

Is the frame C-Channel or tube “box” frame? We always use a tube frame, buy doing so, it gives the frame added strength and helps protect wiring and brake lines from the harsh elements.

Are the axles Torsion or leaf spring suspensions? We use Torsion axles on all our custom trailers unless specified by the customer. Some of the benefits to torsion axles are, no leaf springs, works independently from other axles and offers a premium ride.

· Is the trailer steel or aluminum? All our trailers are Aluminum for the ultimate protection and ease of mind. Unlike steel, aluminum is inherently resistant to rust and corrosion, and it needs no paint or galvanization. Steel trailers not only require painting, but tubular frame construction has been known to rust undetected from the inside, which can result in frame breakage and load damage. Aluminum is stronger than steel and will not weaken because of rust and corrosion. In addition, aluminum's lighter weight lessens the strain on your towing vehicle which also reduces gas consumption; the weight of steel adds to both strain and gas consumption.

Are the lights standard or LED’s? All our trailers are equipped with water tight LED’s, there extra bright, hassle free, and have an average life of 100,000 hours.
